Group Therapy

333028268Trying to do things alone.

Trying to go through life by yourself has been lonely and isolating. You’ve been going through grief and loss, and it’s become too much to handle alone.

You wish you had a group to help you through the tough times, a tribe that would hold you through the ups and downs.

You just need to find your grounding among like-minded people.

Support groups are here to help.

In support groups, we address depression, anxiety, life stressors, miscarriage, and other instances that bring grief.

Walking into group therapy can feel strange at first, even downright scary.

But once you find your grounding and get to know your members, you’ll also find healing.

However long it takes…

The idea of having to share your story in front of strangers can be scary and requires vulnerability.

Rest assured that you will not be forced to share anything that you do not want to.

Sometimes, we just need to sit and listen without feeling pressured to share.

You can find connection and a sense of belonging through icebreakers, sharing your own story, and helping others.

This space is about you and what you’re going through. You’ll be able to find solutions with the help of your team of people.

Confidentiality is kept as each member signs a consent form to be part of the group.

Sign-ups for the group will go through the facilitator to ensure it is an appropriate place for each person to come to.

Find your village!

In group therapy, a facilitator guides you and other members to share feedback, offer support, and give suggestions.

Here, you’ll find community and be with others with similar experiences.

It’s a way to connect with peers, learn different strategies, and gain new perspectives.

Some of our offerings…

The groups will revolve around miscarriage grief, loss of a loved one, and grief of other types. Groups will also address life stressors like jobs, relationships, etc.

Each group will vary in time and duration, depending on the topic being addressed.

Facilitators will be there to guide the conversations and offer suggestions, ensuring that we stay on topic.
